Good news everyone! Matchbox Twenty has just released a new album, called Exile on Mainstream. Their new single, How Far We’ve Come, has jumped to no.12 in the Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in just three weeks. See their new MTV after the jump.
I was just browsing through Matchbox Twenty’s discography, and I didn’t have any idea they only have 4 albums up to date(not considering the EP’s and and their live performances.) 4 albums and yet Matchbox is already a legend, at least for me. Remember Push, and Unwell, and Disease? Hope we have all the time in the world to put tutorials of those songs here.
I’ve listened to How Far We’ve Come first before watching the video. I knew there was a historical side to it. What I didn’t know is that it’s highly political also, and the video pretty much shows all that. And the lyrics? “I believe the world is burning to the ground…” Wow. Prophetic as well. Rob Thomas pulled it off again.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this song reaches the no. 1 spot, on the billboards and on your mp3 players.

I have to say, that I could not agree with you in 100% regarding ve Come, but it’s just my opinion, which could be wrong
