GT’s Makeshift Softbox – Sharing A Secret For The New Year

A lot of people has already commented both on Youtube and here in GT that our videos looked really good. Well, prompted by Yuga’s DIY Lightbox, I decided to let everyone in on a little secret of ours for the new year. I hope it gives us more luck in 2008.

Introducing: GT’s HOMEMADE SOFTBOX

GT’s Makeshift Softbox

Materials used:

  • cardboard boxes

  • packaging tape
  • two(2) 100-Watt light bulbs
  • electric wire and switch
  • some 2 x 1 x 1/2 inch wood

Neat eh? Not only does it look good, it gives a good light as well. We just adjust our camera’s color temperature. If you have seen some of the pictures I took of our featured artists in Live Sessions, this was our light source.

Just goes to show it doesn’t take money to produce good videos. Extend it further, it doesn’t take money to produce money. 🙂
